Have a drink ready!

Have you ever had a time where you partner is having a bad day at work? Maybe they called you at lunch or texted you during the day to tell you how terrible of day they are having. We all have these days where nothing seems to go right and every time you turn around it seems to get worse. This is where being a kind and loving partner comes in. You can turn their day around as soon as the walk through the door. Have their favorite drink ready for them and give them a big kiss as the walk through the door. Encourage them to sit down and talk to you about their day, let them get it off their chest so that they can put it behind them. Maybe, just maybe you will make their night a little better and they can forget about the terrible day they have had. Within each and everyone of us there is the power to lift our lovers up. Be it with compassion and praise, or listening and understanding, we can turn the tides for them. Make them feel special the rest of the night, make sure to touch them often as touch is a soothing reminder of the love you have for them. If the time is right have induce a little sexual release from them and let them enjoy your wonderful love for them. We cannot change the past but we can make the present a different place.

Keep an on going wish lists

Christmas is past and gone with it are the thoughts of purchasing presents for your beloved. Not so true, their are several more holiday in which gifts are usually exchanged. Valentines Day is just around the corner, birthdays, anniversaries, and so forth are just a sample of holidays that we purchase gifts for, plus sometimes we just want to buy the person we love a little trinket to show them we are thinking about them. To help with this process both of you should keep a wish list available for your partner to be able to view anytime they wish. Maybe you could make a special file on your computer or even keep a shared document available for the two of you both to get into and change the list as needed (Google documents allows this feature). When you see something you would like to have go ahead and put it on the list. This way when you partner is getting ready to purchase a gift for you, what ever the occasion they will have a list available without having to ask you that dreaded question, "What would you like for our/your..." Not only do you get what you want but they can also surprise you without your input. Make sure to keep the list updated regularly so you don't get things you have already purchased or decided you didn't really want. This will make all your holiday even more special plus help with the frustration of your mate trying to find something to purchase for you.

Surprise ME!

We all made Christmas list when we were younger and we still like to get things that we want this day and age. However, I think several people still miss the meaning behind the gift giving. This is a celebration of love and happiness. We get to show our loved ones that we care about them, the thing that really gets lost at this time of year is the old saying "It is the thought that counts" The price and item itself are not the important part of the season, we are not in competition. Get the idea out of your head that the size or cost of the gift tell you how much someone cares about you. You need to be thankful that you have someone in your life that cares enough to go out and purchase you something because they love or care about you. Understanding that just getting a gift is something several people would find extremely important and some people simply can't afford big expensive gifts. Remember being in love doesn't have to cost you. Another thing I like to caution people on is saying that Santa only brings presents to good boys and girls. There are several children out there that get nothing for Christmas and they aren't bad children. It might be a case of a parent getting laid off work or a family struggling to just pay their bills. Whatever the cause the children shouldn't be made to feel like they did something to desire no presents from the jolly man. A nice surprise might be to find out one of these families and either purchase items for them or go through some of your old things and find toys or clothes that would help them out. You might be amazed at how good you will feel by doing this.

Worst Pick up lines ever!! (Click this title for more)

Guys we need to cut out the corny pick up lines. Never have I heard of a one-line opening that worked well. Especially the ones that jump straight into “I want to have sex with you” Do yourself and all the ladies out there a favor and introduce yourself and tell them you would like a chance to get to know them. If you get a phone number or some conversation congratulations you are doing wonderful. These corny pick up lines only get you punched or kicked in the groin so if you’re into the abuse thing here you go. Check out the link attached to the title of this post for some of the worst all time pick up lines in the history of modern dating. Below is in my opinion one of the worst of the worst.
“I may not be a Flintstone, but I can sure make your bed rock” Scary that someone would use that.

Resist the urge to snap!

Have you ever gotten mad about something and snapped, then later felt really bad that you said something that maybe you shouldn't have. This is were you need to learn a little self control. When you are in a heated argument you always need to think what you say out. Usually that first thing that pops into your mind is something that might not be so easy to take back. Plus it usually is just a tear at the person and might not even have anything to do with the argument. When you get a little frustrated with you mate you need to take some time before you open your mouth. Once you say something, you won't be able to say sorry later and take it back. Many feelings have been hurt for a long time by someone just blurting something out in a fit of anger. Take your time and count if you need to these few seconds could save some hurtful feelings later.

That's not my chore...

No one like to do chores, but they have to get done sometime. If you can eliminate some of the time spend doing these chores your relationship time increases and that my friend is never a bad thing.
