Balanced Life

A Balanced life is one that is filled with all the things you want and need. You can't ignore any part of your life if you want your romance to skyrocket. For example you cannot put all your energy into being romantic, that you forget about other things. Things like taking care of your health, or focusing on your profession. It is hard to be romantic when you are so out of shape you or that you don't have any money to be romantic. In turn you also have to have balance in your relationship, it can't all be romance you have to do the basic things to like the chores around the house or helping your partner with things they have to do. Once you understand that romance fits into that balanced lifestyle, then it just gets better and better. Always make sure you remember to be romantic but never forget to live the other parts of your life.

Seafood is it the Chicken of the sea.

We all know that seafood is good for us. Plus with as abundant as the sea is we should not really deplete the oceans as we have the other areas of the world. However, us humans are pretty good at not knowing what we are doing until it is almost to late. My point her however is how romantic seafood is. Oysters have always been known for their romantic boosting abilities. There is just something about seafood that is sexy to me. Lobster, crabs, fish, shrimp, to me say great night out and a romantic stream flowing down my pallet. Maybe it is because I live no where near the ocean, in the middle of the United States of America. So, I wonder if people that live on the coast view their seafood as such a romantic dish as I do? I would love to hear your views. Send them to me at thecouplesspot@gmail.com Here in the middle of the country chicken and beef are normal everyday meals to us so I wonder is seafood the chicken of the coast line or do they still hold seafood as a romantic special meal? Looking forward to hearing your feelings.

Olive Oil - the wonder oil.

We so often focus on the mind and body when we want to increase passion in our life. Sometimes we forget that what we put into our bodies also has a effect on the outcome. Olive Oil is one of the items that we can put into our body that will benefit our passion. Olive Oil helps our blood flow better which leads to better erections and genital stimulation in both male and female partners. Consuming Olive Oil also helps your overall health, which in turn helps your passion thrive. Think about it, if you feel better, you are going to want to do things you might not other wise. When picking an Olive Oil search for the virgin or extra virgin varieties as they have more of the items in them that are good for you. This might seem a little weird but you can also use Olive Oil as a lubricant. Many people swear by this practice and claim that the natural ingredients are much better then the ones that are made in the lab. You can also use the Olive Oil as a massage oil and it is great for your skin and hair. Just make sure to either cover your sheets or use ones that you don't care if they get stained. Now the next time you are in the store tell your partner you want to pick up something that will help improve your romance. Then watch their reactions as you head to the cooking oils section.

Today is a great day to have sex!

We so often put things off and sex is one of the most put off things in a relationship. Why? It can make you feel good and can help you sleep better when done on a regular basis. There are also chemicals released during sex that helps your body feel better. The old adage of "Not tonight I have a headache" is so sill being that it is proven the sex and help improve headaches. There are so many studies on the benefits of sex that I don't understand the reason people avoid it. Today is the day to start improving not only your relationship but your health also.

Laugh Together!!! (Click her to go to ABC website to find funny stuff)

I know it sounds silly but the benefits of laughing are well documented. Yes laughing actually improves your health and helps you live longer. What better person then your partner to share some good belly laughs with. I would have to suggest America's Funniest Videos to get you started. If you can't find that on TV you might just go to YouTube and search for items the two of you would find funny. Items to search might include: people falling down, funny dogs or cats, or just type in funny and see what you get. Other sources could be look for comedy shows or search for old clips of things you know are funny.

Funny has been around for a long time, I mean look at some old Three Stooges videos. I am sure it was around even longer ago. I can imagine a caveman getting chased by a dinosaur and his buddies laughing at him.

A newer show that might bring about so laughs would be Wipe Out! If you have a favorite show that makes you laugh let me know about it. One thing I love to do is laugh so I should live forever.

That's not my chore...

One of the things that makes a women feel special is taking some of her work load off her back. So next time you know your partner is having a particularly bad day do some of her chores at home. At our house my wife and I have specific duties that we perform to keep up the house. For instance I do the dishes and she does the laundry. With our busy work schedules sometimes she might get behind a little during the week on the laundry. She usually tries then to catch it up on the weekend. Well my theory behind this is if I can save her a couple of hours of doing laundry "WE" will have more time to spend together. I also hope it shows her how special she is to me.

No one like to do chores, but they have to get done sometime. If you can eliminate some of the time spend doing these chores your relationship time increases and that my friend is never a bad thing.

Just Desserts (Click her to find out how to make your sweeties favorite dessert)

Everyone loves some kind of dessert. I am sure you probably have an idea of what one is your partners. Next time you get a chance either make it or purchase it as a surprise. You can even leave it for you partner with a note, when you are going to be away. Let the note say something to the effect of "Think of me every time you take a bite". Don't overdue it however we don't want to encourage overeating in any manner. If your partner is trying to diet use their favorite sweet as a reward. You could say okay I got you this delicious treat, but we have to ride 5 miles on our bikes before we can enjoy it. This scores double points as you are worried about your partners health and you want them to have their favorite treat.
