Romantic Gondola Rides

Many Americans have dreamed about visiting Venice and taking a ride in its most iconic mode of transportation, the gondola. But a lot of us are too busy to drop everything and go abroad; fortunately, there are gondoliers in many stateside cities who specialize in bringing a little Venetian romance and relaxation into your life.
We were asked to share this article with you and we are pleased to do so, but we also wanted to share a couple of places that were not mentioned.  Here they are:
Old World Gondoliers in Indianapolis, IN - http://www.4gondola.com
Click here to discover a few of the places (from the original article) where you can take to the water the old-fashioned way.

Video the two of you.

There is no time like the present to get started making a little video of the two of you for memories sake. Think about it how much you change in a year or 10 years or 20. Take a little video of the two of you each and every year on your anniversary and compile this video footage into a montage. Think about how wonderful it will be on your 50th wedding anniversary to see all the clips in order. Do something similar in each video weather you kiss, talk about things or do something silly. This will make a great memory for the two of you but for all the people who's lives you touch. As time goes by you will be glad you did this, it is a wonderful way to remember how we were.

Keep an on going wish lists

Christmas is past and gone with it are the thoughts of purchasing presents for your beloved. Not so true, their are several more holiday in which gifts are usually exchanged. Valentines Day is just around the corner, birthdays, anniversaries, and so forth are just a sample of holidays that we purchase gifts for, plus sometimes we just want to buy the person we love a little trinket to show them we are thinking about them. To help with this process both of you should keep a wish list available for your partner to be able to view anytime they wish. Maybe you could make a special file on your computer or even keep a shared document available for the two of you both to get into and change the list as needed (Google documents allows this feature). When you see something you would like to have go ahead and put it on the list. This way when you partner is getting ready to purchase a gift for you, what ever the occasion they will have a list available without having to ask you that dreaded question, "What would you like for our/your..." Not only do you get what you want but they can also surprise you without your input. Make sure to keep the list updated regularly so you don't get things you have already purchased or decided you didn't really want. This will make all your holiday even more special plus help with the frustration of your mate trying to find something to purchase for you.

Get the Size Right

Get the Size Right

Gentlemen, if you are going to buy your sweetheart a present (be it for Christmas, a birthday, or an anniversary), do a little research first. Do a little snooping to save yourself a lot of hassle. Next time your partner is out of the house go through her garments and write down all the sizes of her clothing. Make sure you make a detailed list. Don't just look at one pair of her panties and think that is good for no matter where you go. If she wears one size from Victoria's Secret, she might wear a different size from Target. (It is not just the store, but the various collections within each store make a difference, also!) Not only are the sizes important, the brands are just as important. If your honey likes a certain brand of jeans, it is usually because she likes the way they fit her. Okay, now you have your list of sizes and brands. Next, you need to observe this fine specimen you call your lover. Watch her and see what clothes she puts on when you go out somewhere special and what she wears when the two of you are lounging around the house. Use these preferences to make the final decisions on the clothes you buy her, and tailor these presents to the occasion - like Valentine's Day might be something a little fancier where as Christmas gifts might be a little more low-keyed in your household. However you look at it, when your special lady pulls out her gift she will be most appreciative if she sees the size is correct. She will be very thankful you did your research. She doesn't want to spend her time running all over the place returning items. It also helps you avoid that situation when you might buy something too big, and she asks, "Do you think I'm fat?" If your partner is dieting or pregnant, you might want to go for something other than clothes as the sizes will be off depending on which way she is going.

Intimates such as bra's, panties or lingerie are a must for the right sizing as these are the closest thing to your partner and most ladies are very particular on these items. Therefore, make sure you find the right brand. Don't try something cheaper. It will most likely stay in the drawer and never get worn. If buying clothes for you partner makes you jittery, don't worry. Even if you mess it up, you can always fix it later with jewelry or tickets to a show.
