Celebrate Mothers Day

Somewhere, sometime a wonderful woman brought you into this world. Today is the day to celebrate her. Giving her thanks for all she has put up with from you. Think about your teenage years and the grief that you caused, that right there should be enough for you to put her on a pedestal. Now I know some of you out their might not have a good relationship with your mother or maybe she isn't even in the picture. If this is the case then think back to who was your mother figure. Maybe your dad took on all those responsibilities if this is the case. If so then make sure to honor them during this day. You don't have to buy your father a mothers day card but a nice thank you card might to the trick.

Happy Easter here is my egg?

Easter marks the returning of Jesus in religion, where eggs and chocolate came in I am not for sure. Easter has become another holiday that is celebrated as a way of giving gifts. This however is not the case. Want to do something romantic for Easter then take your special person out for dinner. If you are religious then maybe you can revive your relationship a little by spending the day together. Holding hands and walking maybe even hunting Easter eggs with your children. I have no idea about how colored eggs got into the scene on Easter but use this symbolism and color your special someone a egg with a heart on it. Present it to them and tell them you would give them your heart over and over again.

We hit our one year anniversary.

Just letting you know that Romantic Antics Blog is now one year old. Hitting mile stones is a great reason to celebrate. Just as in your relationships make sure to make a big deal about your achievements. Starting out working of this blog I was worried about having enough content to make it a month but look at us hitting one year. The content just keeps coming and and coming just as in our daily lives we take what life throws at us and we go on. I would love to make a living helping people create the best relationships possible. Rap Session

How often do you just sit down to talk about things between the two of you? Do you make time for this type of activity? A rap session isn't about beat boxing or reciting the latest SnoopDog song it is about both of you getting a chance to just talk about things effecting you. It might be the news or your work, or even the latest movie that you have just seen. The point is the rap session is where you just let your feelings out and both of you get a chance to listen and speak to your partner. Pick a time when you will be alone, after the children are in bed and you have time to yourselves. Get a glass of wine, turn the television off, and just speak what is one your mind. Take turns so it isn't just a one sided speech. When it is your turn to listen then you do just that and really listen to what your partner is saying. Let your emotions come out laugh, cry, or celebrate but make sure you are honest not only to your partner but to yourself also. These rap sessions are great ways to build your relationship and make it stronger then it has ever been.

Your partners Birthday take it seriously.

As we age we don't want to celebrate another year of getting older. However, there is that little kid in all of us that enjoys being the center of attention and getting things to make us feel special. You can do this for your partner, even if you don't have much cash. Things you can do without much money is number one throw them a party. Invite all their family and friends and just let them enjoy the company of the people that mean the most to them. You can also make their favorite dinner, or breakfast to help them see how special you think they are. The important thing here is to go out of your way a little to show your love. Flowers fade, presents get old but the memories you can build in this manner last a lifetime. Take this from me never let an opportunity pass to celebrate your love for one another. You never know when it could be the last time to celebrate or when it just might brighten your partners life up a little.

A heart shaped breakfast of Valentine's Day.

What better way to kick off your Valentine's Day then to create some heart shaped foods for you partner. Pancakes, toast, waffles, and many others items can be shaped into hearts to make your Valentine's Day breakfast a winner. At this time of year you can find heart shaped cutters anywhere and at the same time you can find Valentine themed plates and cups, also. These items can help set the mood even better for a breakfast in bed bonanza. If you partner will only eat cereal for breakfast you can pick up a heart shaped bowl for their morning milk and cereal fix. Since Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year most of you will have a little extra time to get your breakfast ready. Enjoy your Valentine's Day and your love this year, it's a wonderful thing to celebrate.
