A surprise in their Shoe?

What is the last thing anyone puts on before going out for the day? Your shoes of coarse. So today's romantic tip is to slip a little excitement into your sweeties shoe. It doesn't have to be something expensive, I am sure jewelry would be appreciated. Things like their favorite candy bar, or tickets to a show later that evening would be nice. Think of things that would fit into their shoes without being able to see them. Imagine their face with they find something in their shoe when they try to slip it on. An old picture of the two of you could be a nice touch, an invitation to dinner or even a brand new pair of sexy panties might set their heart beating faster.

The important thing is to let them know you are thinking about them. The will understand that some planning had to go into this venture and will be delighted you put the extra effort into it. If their shoes are in bad shape maybe a gift card for some new ones. The ideas are as open as you are. So start thinking now of something foot sized that would make your partner feel special. Now go get it and slip it into their shoe. Just make sure it's not something that they can smash with their feet, no grapes please. Wine is better from the bottle.

Pictures of the both of you.

The one thing I think all couples should do is get their picture taken together. I don't mean to go out and get a setting down with a professional photographer. I am talking about pictures of the two of you doing the thing in life that are fun to you. Vacations, cookouts, or just when you are being silly hand your camera over to someone and ask them to take your picture. These are the pictures you want to hang up around your house. These pictures so love and affection for each other and give you that feel good feeling you need as you glance at them. Plus viewing them makes you want to go out and have more fun together. Document your relationship and start taking pictures today.

Visions of a future.

Do the two of you want something really special to share? Maybe a special vacation, a night out on the town or a new car. Whatever it is the two of you desire together you need to put it in your vision. You need to see and feel as if you already have it. Put pictures up of you special desire. Put them in places that you will both see them like in the bathroom or above your bed. My constantly seeing the vision of your item of desire you will keep it fresh in your memory so that you can reach that goal. Send each other emails with you desire within the correspondence. Stay on target and don't pick things you are going to want to chance in a week or so. Plan that trip out to the letter so that when you finally reach your goal you be ready to enjoy it. Together you positive energy can create anything you want. Share together these visions and not only will you be striving for what you want together but you will be building a stronger bond between the two of you.

Keep your camera handy at all times.

Romance happens when you least expect it sometimes. You can be out just driving around and romance could hit you. Make it a habit of carrying a small camera with you at all times it doesn't have to be an expensive one and it can be small to easily be carried around. This way when that unexpected romantic event happens you can document it to share over and over. Romance has a way of creeping into your life and if you have your camera ready well then it is preserved forever. Maybe you will be out riding your bikes and come across a wonderful romantic place near a stream or you have a flat tire and you both get really dirty changing it, these are memories that you won't forget but a photo would help share it with others. You might start to find this addictive and making a scrapbook of romance might not be a bad idea. Happy shooting.

Get pictures of the two of you!

One thing I notice when I go to other peoples houses is how few pictures they have of them as a couples. If they have kids you see many pictures of the kids on the wall and several of one partner with the children but if you do see a couples photo it is usually a professional one. Were are the pictures of the couple enjoying vacation together or just hugging on the couch. I suggest you start focusing on ways to get pictures together weather you ask strangers to take your pictures or teach your children to use the camera. With digital cameras now a days you can let the kids practice and then erase all the ones that are of your feet or just the top of your heads. Once you get the pictures you want then start posting them around your house as a reminder of how fun and important your relationship is.

Pictures Pictures Pictures.

One think I cannot express enough is that you need to document your relationship from the start. Maybe this might not be the relationship that is your last but what if it is? Wouldn't it be nice to have pictures from your early days together to share when you get older. Ones that would jog your memory and let you relive those wonderful days all over again. Cameras are great today you can make and save all your prints right at home. No worries about wasting film or having to take the film to the drug store to get them processed. You really have no excuse to not be taking pictures at every event you attend. If you have children you have to take pictures so that when they are grown and gone you can still remember them when they needed you most. Make an investment in your future and buy a good camera and start documenting everything that you can in your relationship and life.

Experience a new town.

Want to go on a romantic adventure? Well if your funds are limited like most people today, why not just go someplace that you have never been. Pick a near by town you have never been to maybe they might be having a festival or a special event going on that you can check out. You don't have to have an agenda. Just go explore the town, walk around downtown and experience how the community works. Find the local hot spots and pick a local restaurant for lunch to get a better feel for the town. Take your time and spend a good portion of the day taking in the sights, finding parks or trails, take in all you can and bank it for future references. Who knows you might find a place that you would like to move to at a future time. Make sure to take your camera and document your findings, heck make a scrap book of your adventures.

Laughter is a Romances best friend.

Romance is an important part of any relationship, if your missing it your are not living. However, romance has a secret friend that help make it even better. Laughter is one key that helps unlock the mystery of romance. Look around you the couples that are laughing together usually seem to have the best relationships. They enjoy each others company and that right there is enough to push them to be romantic towards each other. This is one of the reasons Romantic Comedies are so popular. People attend movies to make them feel good and seeing a funny heart felt movie about relationship is what they truly want in their lives. The couple that can sit around and laugh and have fun has a far better chance of their relationship lasting then others. Look through your pictures and find ones of the two of you laughing and having fun together, then make a point to put those pictures up so that you can see them often. The will serve as reminders of how much fun your partner is and they will tug on your heartstrings. All this will make you want to do something special for them and there you go your romantic side will show through.

Save thing for sentimental gifts later.

One thing you should get in the habit of doing is saving things that might be really sentimental later on in your relationship. These little reminders of the past work well as presents during the future. Some of the things I have saved and given as a gift are, the movie tickets from our first date, a flyer from the cruise we got married on and our first email conversations that I printed out before even our first date. At the time these didn't seem like important little tit bits but when you present them to your partner on your 5th year wedding anniversary they seem a little more important. Pictures can also be helpful so take lots of pictures when you do anything together. Other things I can think of that would make great gifts are: pregnancy tests from a child (great for a graduation present for your partner), the recorded version of a song that you first dance to, or some momentous of your first trip together. Heck you could even take a picture of the two of you each time you have an anniversary and then each year give it as a present as you add another picture to it. Memories are so precious to us and the simplest thing can remind us of the great times we have had.

Wrap up a memory

The economy is hoping that you are going out and spending a bunch of money this Christmas, and yes that is the way to break out of a recession. However, a romantic thing to do for your partner is to give them something for Christmas that reminds them of a special time the two of you had together. Maybe it is a picture from you last vacation, or the baby booties of your first born child. Think back through out the year and try to remember anything monumental that happened to the two of you during that last year together. Firsts are always something to remember such as the first marathon you ran, your first house or even the first time you kissed. Now the job is to find something that you can wrap up that will take them back to that time. A picture of the event is a great way, go out a purchase a nice frame and place the picture inside it, the will immediately remember that event. Items from that event are another suggestion, say you had a child together during this year then the little beanie that they but on the baby in the hospital in a frame would be an extra special thing you could hang on your wall. You can pick up brochures from your last vacation destination, or programs from events you attended. If a special song was playing during your memory you could pick up that song for them. The important thing about wrapping up a memory is that it will get your partner thinking about the wonderful times the two of you have together.

Update you pictures.

You know some people out there are very good at taking pictures all the time. Most all of us have a newer digital camera, that lets us delete any unwanted photo right away. We have no excuse for not getting new pictures all the time. When is the last time you took a picture of your sweet heart just to put in your billfold or to replace the one on your desk? Look around your house are the pictures hanging on the wall out dated? If you have a hair style you are embarrassed about then you need to take some new pictures to put up. It is so easy now a days you can print them out yourself by picking up some photo quality paper or you can upload them to a company like Kodak and have nice quality prints sent right to your door. Set up a theme for you pictures maybe take some on vacation every time to put up each year. We take pictures of our family eating and put them up around the very top of our kitchen. You could do any number of themes depending on your family and what room you are putting them up in. Don't let anyone be camera shy and make sure you get equal numbers of pictures of everyone. It isn't very fair if you can go into someones house and tell by the pictures who always is behind the camera. Don't just put up perfect pictures either. Use some of the silly and wacky ones you take it adds a lot more character and conversation to your house. Now if you don't have one go out and pick up a new digital camera and start taking pictures of everything you can think of.

Featured in the picture is the Nikon D40 SLR Camera, which I feel is a great camera.

Let the pictures tell the story

I say I am going to do this every time we go on a trip, and by golly next time I am.

Next time you take a trip somewhere together make sure to take your camera and take pictures of everything you do. With today's digital cameras it is even easier to do then ever. Then get an album and place the pictures in order based on how you did them. If you don't do it soon after you get home you will find yourself scratching your head and wondering which event goes where. Place silly captions under each photo and label the front of the album with a specific title, such as "Trip to Italy" Then when you pull the album out in about five years you will have no problem reliving that trip or event.

This may sound silly but as we age we don't always remember things exactly as they happened. So this method will help you and your partner remember all those special times you enjoyed together. With today's advances in technology you can even perform this while you are still on vacation. You can email the photo to your house with labels already attached. If you take a laptop you can even work on the photo album while you are relaxing by the pool. So don't be like me there is no reason or excuse for not getting these memories recorded on your next trip or event.

Girls on Film (Boys too)

Do you think your partner is beautiful? I would venture to say most of you do. So make her feel beautiful as her if you can take some pictures of her/him. Today's cameras being digital make it easy to take lots of pictures. You don't have to send them out to get them developed and you can print them out on your standard computer, or you can download them to digital devices. You can store your pictures on your computer, phone, ipod, or another device with storage capability.

Now you have no excuses go out and take as many pictures of your partner as you camera will hold. Then let them help you pick out the best ones. Believe me this is a great idea because you don't want a picture of your partner on you phone and it be one that they think is ugly. Have them do a little posing, get a little silly, pictures with people laughing are always better then trying smile on your own.

Since your pictures are digital and no one else will see them. You can even take some pictures that are a little more provocative if you both are willing. The point being you can take some great pictures of you partner to use as keep sakes for the long haul. If you have a tripod and a timer on your camera you can even take pictures of the two of you together. Those are always nice to have around. So get to clicking.

Put some heart into your yard work! (Click here to find out how to mow patterns in your yard)

Next time your lawn needs mowing try this little trick to tell your sweetie how much you love her. Section out your yard to mow a design into it. Let you grass get a little higher and then will your sweetie is not looking plan out your design. You could do her name, a big heart, or just a little hello. Do it before you do the rest of the lawn so you can get rid of it by mowing the rest of the lawn. For the best vantage point of your artwork look at it from a second story window. Your partner will fell special that you have done this for her/him. Most likely they will want you to erase it quickly but the thought was nice.

For the really way to design patterns in your yard, click on the title of this post to see a video on how it is done.
