Pictures Pictures Pictures.

One think I cannot express enough is that you need to document your relationship from the start. Maybe this might not be the relationship that is your last but what if it is? Wouldn't it be nice to have pictures from your early days together to share when you get older. Ones that would jog your memory and let you relive those wonderful days all over again. Cameras are great today you can make and save all your prints right at home. No worries about wasting film or having to take the film to the drug store to get them processed. You really have no excuse to not be taking pictures at every event you attend. If you have children you have to take pictures so that when they are grown and gone you can still remember them when they needed you most. Make an investment in your future and buy a good camera and start documenting everything that you can in your relationship and life.

Sometimes you just have to do nothing at all!

Everyone has those days when you just don't feel great or you might be a little depressed. These are the days you don't want to do your normal routine. You don't want to work out, you don't want to mess with cleaning the kitchen you just want to wallow in your sorrows. Most people might think this is not a healthy activity. I feel like a little bit of this is good for you it keeps you grounded. Now if this is happening everyday you might need to seek some help. One day of this is not going to drive you over the edge. Take the time and do nothing at all, watch some bad television and just hang out together. Don't analyze what is going on just take time to reflect. Think of the good things in your life as you are dealing with the bad, the theory behind this is that once you start thinking of the good things the bad won't seem that bad. I remember a particular tough time in my life where I found myself in a lawyers office. I was depressed and sad about the things going on and I remember my lawyer telling me, "Everything is going to be all right" Then he went on to say "I lost my daughter last week in a car accident, now that is something to mourn for" That statement hit me like a ton of bricks and it really got me understanding how to put things in perspective. Don't make a habit of it but embrace the times you don't feel great and happy and then reflect on them and see that they are really most likely not as bad as they are making you feel.

Lay on the floor together.

When is the last time you and your partner just laid on the floor. We just got new carpet and I decided to just plop down on the floor to see how it felt. My partner soon joined me and she laid there holding hands and we looked up at the ceiling giving us a different perspective then we had had just a few minutes ago. It is amazing how different everything looks from this angle. So next time you and your partner are just lazin around spend some time on the floor and see what you might be missing. It will maybe help you understand how you have to look at everything in your relationship at all angles, this helps the couples stay happy and in love.
