Watching other relationships around you fail!

All of us know of other relationships that fail for one reason or another. It can be disheartening when a couple you know and have a relationship with decides to end their relationship. You almost feel cheated by them ending it. Especially when it is what you see as a great couple. You lose heart in your own relationship thinking will ours end like that? First of all you can't let other relationship dictate what you do in your relationship or make you act differently. All relationships can end in disaster or they can be the strongest one ever. That my friend is up to the two of you.!!

Birth control and safe sex.

Thank goodness in today's society birth control and safe sex are starting to get the attention they need. They are even trying to make it sexy. Some of the condom adds I have seen her lately are hilarious. However they are on late at night so kids can't see them. They should have these on during teenage shows in my opinion so at least the kids will think they are sexy. Choosing the right birth control can be an important decision for the two of you not only does it need to help you not get pregnant, at least until you want to, but it needs to be safe also, without taking away your intimacy. The pill and condoms seem to be the most popular methods but they have their draw backs and while all methods have their drawbacks some are more risky then others. Taking the top two for example. Condoms are not as affective if they are not put on in the right manner, and the pill can cause all kinds of drastic side effects in women. Look at other options if these two things scare you and find just the right fit for the two of you.

Great Quotes.

"The deepest principle in human nature
is the craving to be appreciated"
William James

This quote rings so true we all enjoy doing for our partner but is all lost if it is not appreciated. Sure we are suppose to do these things out of kindness and not expecting a return. True love is a give and take commitment by two people. You do not go into a relationship with the expectation that you will be the only one showing love nor do you go in expecting not to put any effort into the relationship. Appreciation is the payment for all you do for your partner. Appreciation cannot be measured like money but it is the most valuable return on your investment of love.

If you have the funds to get either an iphone or ipod touch, these two devices are great fun and a wonderful building tool for relationships. Yes you can call and text each other but that is not the part that makes them so great or different from normal cell phones. It's the applications that make these two wonderful items a success. Rap Session

How often do you just sit down to talk about things between the two of you? Do you make time for this type of activity? A rap session isn't about beat boxing or reciting the latest SnoopDog song it is about both of you getting a chance to just talk about things effecting you. It might be the news or your work, or even the latest movie that you have just seen. The point is the rap session is where you just let your feelings out and both of you get a chance to listen and speak to your partner. Pick a time when you will be alone, after the children are in bed and you have time to yourselves. Get a glass of wine, turn the television off, and just speak what is one your mind. Take turns so it isn't just a one sided speech. When it is your turn to listen then you do just that and really listen to what your partner is saying. Let your emotions come out laugh, cry, or celebrate but make sure you are honest not only to your partner but to yourself also. These rap sessions are great ways to build your relationship and make it stronger then it has ever been.

Get some sun.

Want something that will help you romance well get some sun. The sun light is great for your overall mood and it is an important part of life. About this time of year everyone is getting cabin fever and wanting to get outside to soak up some sun. If we are not able to take a vacation during the colder winter months then it has probably been quite some time since you got to enjoy the warm summer sun. The next time you find the sun out make sure to get out in it. Walk to work, or just take a walk and let the good sensations the sun can create start to chip away at that bottled up feeling you have had since winter started.

Great love ballads.

Have you ever watch a cheesy romantic comedy and listened to the soundtrack? If you have you have heard several of the great love ballads. Groups such as Journey, Boston, Chicago, etc made a lot of money singing these songs for young lovers. So why not use them to help boost your love life. Make a playlist of these songs to play in the background of your house during times that lag. In essence you are making your life into a romantic comedy.

Check out this clip from the Band Exile and see if you can remember the song from the movie Happy Gilmore. Maybe you can do a better job of singing then Adam Sandler did in the movie.
