Quite eating fast food and save the money for date nights.

Here in America most of us eat way to much fast food. It is easy and it tastes good but the terrible part is that it is expensive and is not at all healthy. Why don't the two of you as a couple make an effort to avoid it altogether. Make a commitment that when every you feel like grabbing a burger the both of you remain strong and make a grilled cheese or turkey sandwich at home. Then the money you would have spent eating something bad for you and put it in a jar marked, "Date Night" Continue doing this until you have enough in the jar to experience your favorite activity together. Heck you could even save for a trip if you are strong enough. Make a penalty also so that if you do go out and eat fast food you have to replace the money you spend from your jar. You will soon start thinking about just grabbing fast food all together. Not only will your body thank you but your can both thank each other when you are sitting on the beach somewhere special.

Supe Bowl - Super Romantic Dish

Two things that go hand in hand are the Super Bowl and some great food. Everyone that prepares food for a Super Bowl party has a special dish that they like to make. Today is the day to show off your skills to your sweetheart. Don't just pick an easy dish to make, like nachos or hot dogs. Pick something out of the ordinary, today for instance I am making my special Stromboli with pie crusts and filled with sausage, sauce and cheese. This will most certainly impress your partner and show them that you have many talents besides being a great partner. One thing you want to make sure of is that you plan out your meal so that you won't be cooking during the game. You want the food to be ready for the two of you to enjoy during the game without missing a minute of the game. Today is also the day that the most junk is ate, so break that tradition and find healthy alternatives to snack and eat on. Remember the Super Bowl is like Christmas it only comes around once a year. Make the most of it and make it a event to remember.

Make a delicious desert for your Thanksgiving dinner

Sure we all need to watch our weight but at Thanksgiving everyone needs to try a little of the sweet stuff. Whipping up a tasty treat will have your partner standing in amazement of your talents as they bite into this tasty treat, who's instructions are below. Now you don't have to make this exact item shown above but make something that will make everyone's mouth water. This is great for when everyone is sitting around watching football or playing games. We all know that whatever you make will have way to many calories in it, but think of it this way how are you going to work all those calories off later in the evening? Sound inviting doesn't it. You will also get a big feeling of accomplishment as you pull off this desert masterpiece and the Thanksgiving table is the perfect place to display your work of art, so that your sweetheart and see how talented you are. You can find the turtle pumpkin pie (pictured above) recipe by clicking on the title of this post.
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 cup cold milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Another Great way to save some money to do something fun.

Are you still looking for ways to stash a little cash away? Well here is a suggestion on eating that could save you some cash. Split your meals. With the economy in the shape it is in. I am seeing several restaurants offering meals at greatly reduced prices to get people in the door. This is a great way for you to save some money. First of all find a larger meal and split it between the two of you. Most meals at restaurants are large enough that you can split and still feel pretty full. Make sure not to all into things like drinks and appetizers at these restaurants. Yes they are good but they will make the bill go up quickly. Get water to drink at places it is free then if you want a soda later get one out of the vending machine or at home, they are much cheaper.

Another idea is to find a buffet that offers carry out. They will usually charge you for one person then give you a box to fill up. If you know things your partner likes you can easily get two meals in the box for the price of one. I have a friend that will fill his box at the Chinese restaurant and then make three meals out of it for $5.75. Now that is a bargain. If you just use your brain a little you can save quite a bit of money. Many years ago McDonald's offered $25 cent hamburgers and then the cheeseburgers were .69 cents. Well we found out that adding cheese to a sandwich only cost .20 cents at that time. So we would order hamburgers and add cheese to make the cheeseburger .45 cents! Make sure to check out other great ways to save money in this manner. Keep track of what you save and put it away for a trip or something special for the two of you.

Football season is here!

Okay it is now officially football season. High school teams have started to play and colleges, too. The NFL is about to kick off. As a couple if you both enjoy the football atmosphere then you need to find a game you can tailgate at. Tailgating is a great way to spend time with your friends and also your partner. Everyone is rooting for the same team and you can find some great eats and drinks. Most people don't consider this a great time for couples. It can be if you don't let the game and your friends get your carried away. Always remember to include your partner in the antics you are going to do while you tailgate. If you are going to play corn hole then ask your partner to play with you. Don't go run off with your buddies and forget who you came with. If your partner is new to your group of friends don't leave him/her alone to fend for themselves, stick with them and you will have a much better time. Once they get comfortable and meet some of the others you can bet they will look forward to tailgating as much as everyone else. Always remember that your relationship comes first, so think about your actions before you strip down and paint your whole body.

Cook up some Romance!

With the summer season upon us we need to put some romance on our grill. It's time to find a sexy dish that you can prepare on the grill to make your partner feel special. Do some research and find out some things that claim to be aphrodisiacs and that you can cook on the grill. Things that pop into my mind would be seafood, so you could go get some shrimp and marinate them in an unusual sauce for dinner tonight. Don't do your same old hamburger thing get creative. I will include a link to BBQ & Grilling recipes in the title of this post. Make sure you make something they like. Make sure you plan out the whole meal also. Baked potato's, corn on the cob, are a couple of suggestions that might help you out.

Here is the secret to making your grilled food a romantic meal. Don't let your partner help at all! That's it make them feel like you are doing this completely for them. They will be very honored and you might get a special kiss later for being you partners personal chef.

What is the Most Romantic Meal?

I have a big question for you. What is the most romantic meal a couple can have? I have debated this question for sometime now. I use to think an Italian meal with wine, spaghetti and meatballs was, but I think that is from the movie "Lady and the Tramp". Could it be seafood? It might be but so many people have allergic reactions to seafood, and that would not be romantic. How about a nice steak and potato? Well you knock out all the vegetarians with that one. So what is your most romantic meal. I want to hear what you think is the most romantic meal would be, so email these suggestions to me. I will use the most common meals and start a new survey on the side bar.

This will be a lot of fun to see what everyone thinks. I know I will get a lot of responses saying "Just being with my partner makes it romantic." Yeah, Yeah, Yeah we all know we need our partner for romance. I want to know with all that in place what type of food to you go out and get dress up for.

Remember Romantic thoughts are great but Romantic Actions take the cake.
