Happy Fourth of July!!!

Independence Day one of the greatest holidays for us in America. So much more then fireworks and cookouts. This is the day we received freedom and that my friends is one of the greatest gifts of all. It allows me to express myself and do what I wish. Like creating this blog without our freedom we would be a much different nation.

Now on with the romance. I mentioned earlier about fireworks and they are a main ingredient to our fourth of July celebration here. They mean so much more when you are with the person you love. Here is a way to enjoy them even more. Spread a blanket out and lay down to watch the sky show. forget the chairs, laying down doesn't strain the neck and it allows the two of you to get close as the explosions take place over your heads. Hold hands and make sounds as the fireworks continue. Express to your partner the ones you like the best and enjoy the show.

Watch something funny today.

Laughter has always been marketed as the best medicine. Why not use this medicine in our relationship. Get something funny to watch tonight be it a movie or a television show, just make sure it is something that will get the two of you laughing hard. Laughing is a great stress reliever and a wonderful activity for you body. Sharing your laughter with each other is beneficial in that it strengthens the bond between the two of you. When we are laughing together we are having fun together, plus laughing is just plain sexy. Find something funny to watch tonight or go to a comedy club spend the night holding hands and laughing uncontrollably. It does the body and the relationship good.

Might I suggest some real slapstick type of comedy, think about the naked gun movies.

Attending an event that will make your partner happy.

We all have things that we like to do and if you are in tune with your partner you pretty much know what they like to do. With only this knowledge you can score big point with them. Find out when a show, play, speaker, or event is going on that they would love to go to. Then simply get some tickets for that event. Don't cop out and only get one ticket get two and join them as they experience something they enjoy. You might just get a little more understanding as to why the like what they like. Sure we want to go to the events and shows we would enjoy, but don't close yourself off to the things your partner enjoys. If you happen to find something that you both can have a passion for then that is a wonderful thing. However, just being with them and watching their face as the witness something they enjoy, should be enough of a reason to go. Recently we picked up ticket to go see John Edwards and if you are not familiar with him, he can communicate with people that have passed away. My partner adores him, and last christmas I picked her up some tickets. Going to the show I didn't know what to expect but once there and seeing all the people that have faith in his talent, it made me think pretty hard. I enjoyed his show and besides his readings, he is a wonderful entertainer and personality. I would definately go to another one of his events. He didn't communicate with anyone passed for me or my wife. However, watching her listen intently as he read others was good enough form me. Plus the conversation on the way home was worth the price of the tickets. It got really deep and we talked from our souls. It just goes to show you that opening up to your partners likes is a great way to improve your relationship.

Olympics and Valentine's

With the winter olympics only happening every 4 years this is a great time to spend your Valentine's Day snuggled down with your partner watching the world on stage. Pick out your favorite events and follow them together. Now in another four years you have a specific thing to watch on Valentine's Day. You will build some wonderful memories and learn several new things as you watch the olympics. Spend your Valentine's Day full of chocolate hearts and gold medals. After all you can only do this every four years.

Movie Night

We all know how expensive going to the movies are, yet we have engrained in our memory that going to the movies is an excellent date. What do you do when you don't have thirty or forty buck to plop down for two tickets and popcorn and drinks? Well you turn you living room into a movie theater. Go out and rent a movie for about five bucks and then turn the seats in your living room towards the television. Purchase some snacks and drinks at your local discount store and then invite you date to an evening at the movies. You can make a ticket to give them if you really want the great effect. Not only can you do this for less than half the cost but you can also get a little privacy. This way if you want to make out during the movie you don't have to worry about people watching the two of you make out. By turning out the lights and facing the television you will have the exact feel you do in the movies and if you have surround sound well then it might even be a little better. You can also pause the movie for when you have to go to the bathroom or get some more snacks. So make tonight a night of going in to the movies.

Football Together!

I know some of you out there think Football is stupid and a waste of time to watch. However if you have a partner who enjoys watching it you might be needing to do a little research. Football at this time is one of the biggest spectator sports in the USA. The majority of people love it and if one of them is in your relationship it is time you gave it a try. The typical football game lasts about 3 hours and has a halftime of about 20 minutes. The next time your partner is sitting down to watch the game get into a chair in the same room and act like your going to do something else. The first time you do this just watch, pretend your going to read a book and watch the game a little. Watch how he/she gets into the game. Then each week gradually get a little more into the game and a little closer to your partner. Watching football offers a great time for the two of you to snack and partake of a few drinks together. Don't asks to many questions however as it will take away from the game if he/she has to spend several minutes explaining each play to you. If you really want to get into it find out your local team or his/hers favorite team and get a jersey to watch the games in. Women they also make jerseys with a female cut so you don't look like your shirt is 3 sizes to big. You can also find underwear and sexy outfits to add a special touch. Unless you partner just enjoys alone time watching the game he will be glad you are joining him. Now you need to start getting into the game to show you are really giving it a chance, you might just find out it is enjoyable.

Once you become comfortable their is so much more you can put into the game. Make plans to fool around a little at half time or get a routine going like always order pizza from the same place on game day. Not only will this bring the two of you closer, think about all the adrenaline rushing as you watch and get excited. You know that energy has to be used somewhere after the game. So maybe watching football can help you get lucky.

A great romantic movie neither of you will mind watching.

Anyone that knows me personaly knows I am a huge Adam Sandler fan. So this post was a pure joy for me to put together.

If you want to find a romantic movie that both of you will find entertaining. You need to go no further then Adam Sandler to achieve this goal. I must say that in my opinion the best of the best romanctic comedys is The Wedding Singer. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are star crossed lovers who are bound to end up together. This takes them almost the whole movie the the comedy helps keep everyone interested, until they finally figure out they are ment to be together, with the help of another of my favorites, Mr. Billy Idol. If you love 80's music this is a great soundtrack for you to have also, and the movie will bring back all the fashions that we want to forget from that time period. The point is the movie will make you glad your in love and watching it with your special someone.

Listed below are a few other of Adam Sandler movies that I think are great romantic comedy's also. Adam plays the loveable loser so well in these films you have to hope he gets the girl. So get some popcorn and cozy place to snuggle and enjoy the master at work.

Great Romantic Comedy's featuring Adam Sandler.

1. The Wedding Singer

2. 50 First Dates
