Carve your initials in a tree.

Remember long ago when you about 13 and you felt like you were in love with someone. At 13 you didn't have a lot of ways to express your love. If you were like most 13 year old kids then you probably expressed your love in doodling. Writing you new loves name over and over on your tablet your books, only to have to mark them out later when that love ended. Now that you are older and your relationship is a little more stable it is time to move up. This post is even better if you are stable enough to have your own home together. Find a special tree in your yard or on a path somewhere and carve your initials into that tree. Yes I know it is not good for the tree but in the grand scheme of things it isn't as bad as other things. This carving will stand as an expression of your love for each other. Now every time you walk by that tree or down that path you will remember each other. Make it a point to remember it years later and make a pilgrimage to enjoy it time and time again even after you move out of the area. If for some reason your tree gets removed then as soon as you find out replace your love signature on another tree. Love is our nature so why not express it in our nature.

The obvious drop.

We have all seen the old time movies where the woman would drop her handkerchief so the gentleman would pick it up. Thus allowing them to strike up a conversation. This is a pretty cheesy way to meet someone and I don't know if it ever really worked but we can use this tactic to our advantage. Write a small note about how you feel about your partner, then wad it up tight and put it in your pocket. Then when you partner is around let is slip out, act like you didn't see or feel it slip out and walk away from it. You partner will be curious and venture over to pick the note up. We are all a little nosey so I am sure you partner will open up the paper to see what it on it. Imagine his/her surprise when they read the wonderful things about them on the paper you have intentionally planted.

I would like you to touch me as if you were going away tomorrow, far far away, and you wanted to remember the feel of my body, the texture of my skin, the hills and valleys that make up the landscape of who I am.

I would like you to touch me as if you were blind, knowing that you love me, but unable to see me. Touch my face, my breasts, my belly, my toes... learn what I "look" like, imagine me in your mind as your hands explore my shape.

I would like you to touch me as if your hands were healing hands, radiating love energy with every stroke. Feel the energy penetrating through skin, through flesh, entering into the cells of my body.

I would like you to touch me as if you gained your nourishment through your hands. Feed on me, drink deeply, and draw from your touch the love that I hold for you.

I would like you to touch me as if you were feeding me through your hands, as if by your touch I am nourished and sustained. Every inch of me cries out for your touch, yearns to be fed.

I would like you to touch me as if your hand were a feather, lightly caressing the edge of my being.

I would like you to touch me as if your hands were paintbrushes, and as you caress me, you are coloring me in brilliant, sparkling, dazzling hues.

I would like you to touch me as if you had carved a sculpture, and were now feeling its finish, smoothing out any rough areas, enjoying the finished product.

I would like you to caress me as if I were made of dry clay, and by dampening my skin you enliven my spirit.

Steamy Shower Notes

Here is a great little romantic way to surprise someone. Sneak into the bathroom while they are taking a nice hot shower and leave them a steamy message on the mirror. Tell them you love them, or they are cute. You might even make it a little sexy and write "Ditch the towel and come back to bed with me" Whatever you want to write that gets your feelings across is great. Think of it as texting your partner old school style.

Time to slip a note into a book.

Today your mission is to slip a note into a book your partner is reading. Get yourself a little post it note and carefully write a little sentiment on it. Something short and sweet like, "thinking about you", or "Wow, you are sexy when you are reading" Then find your lovers book and place it someplace ahead of where they are reading. Put it on a page that they won't get to right away and you might find yourself getting a kiss sometime later when you are not expecting it. This is one of those little things you can do to make everyday romantic.

Check your morning greeting.

How do you respond to your partner when you get up? Are you a cave person that only grunts at them or are you a person that greets them in the morning like they are the reason you got up. People are split, some are morning people and some are not but you should always make it a point to express your love to your partner when first getting up. There are several ways to do this that are simple and easy even for the most non-morning person. A simple roll over hug is a nice way to say, "I am still tired, but I love you" or a soft kiss on the check, heck even just putting your hands on them relays your message of care. Sometimes your morning greeting can greatly effect the day not only for you but for you partner also. Being grumpy or angry with your partner can change the whole dynamics of their day. Don't take a chance ruining yours and their day put a little effort into showing them you are glad to see them, even if you are not ready to get up.
