Carve your initials in a tree.

Remember long ago when you about 13 and you felt like you were in love with someone. At 13 you didn't have a lot of ways to express your love. If you were like most 13 year old kids then you probably expressed your love in doodling. Writing you new loves name over and over on your tablet your books, only to have to mark them out later when that love ended. Now that you are older and your relationship is a little more stable it is time to move up. This post is even better if you are stable enough to have your own home together. Find a special tree in your yard or on a path somewhere and carve your initials into that tree. Yes I know it is not good for the tree but in the grand scheme of things it isn't as bad as other things. This carving will stand as an expression of your love for each other. Now every time you walk by that tree or down that path you will remember each other. Make it a point to remember it years later and make a pilgrimage to enjoy it time and time again even after you move out of the area. If for some reason your tree gets removed then as soon as you find out replace your love signature on another tree. Love is our nature so why not express it in our nature.

Make sure to share beautiful visions together.

Last night we had a big thunder storm here. The amazing part about it was the wonderful rainbow that appeared right before the down poor started. The sky was a hazy grey and the clouds were stirring but the most vibrant rainbow I have ever seen arched it's way perfectly through the clouds. I waited patiently for my partner to finish putting our child to bed as I hoped this image would not go away before she would get a chance to see it. Luckily for both of us she made it out in time, we both were amazed at the wonderful colors that broke through the grey storm clouds. At one point we could see the double rainbow that is so rare to see. I bet we stood outside for a 20 minutes marveling at the wonder nature had presented us. We touched and held hands as we became part of this magical vision. The funny part was we were so amazed by it that several of the people driving by in their cars stopped to witness this amazing sight also. So, romantically speaking anytime you see a truly amazing sight try to share it with your partner. The things we witness together mean so much to us as a couple.

Body Art

We all know how popular tattoos have become, that is no secret. Why not put the erotic nature of tattoos into your foreplay or just into your life by trying a little body art. Many places sale body paints that are easily washed off. Imagine the fun you can have finger painting with your partner as the canvass. It is amazing what some people can do with a little body paint, not only is it sexy but touching each other is never a bad thing. You can also stimulate your partner with the use of brushes or other means of putting paint on things such as drippings, or sponge dabbing. No matter how you do it make sure it is fun and each of you get a turn at this erotic form of art. You can click the title of this post to go to Silly Farm a online store that carries body paints. Okay Picasso, now is your time to show off your artistic side.

The time is right for a romantic drive.

Here we are in the autumn season. Now is the best time to get out and take a drive or walk in some wooded areas. If you live in an area where the leaves change color and begin to fall, you are in luck at this time of year. The two of you can hop in the car and witness one of natures truly wonderful shows. I like to find a nice quiet state park and roam around looking at the beautiful colors. Throw your sweatshirts in the car and when you find a trail get out and hike to see even more wonderful sights. Get deep in the woods and spend the day holding hands and kissing as you walk through the wonderful landscape. Soon the winter months will be hear and all the colors will just be memories. Get out there and enjoy it now, take your camera and get some wonderful pictures for your memories.

Romantic Walks - (Click here to find out more)

I do believe one of the most romantic things that costs absolutely nothing is just taking a walk together. The place doesn't matter, unless it is in an unsafe location or during an unsafe time. I mean don’t go for a walk in the middle of a hurricane or a very shady neighborhood. A walk gives the two of you privacy even when you are out in the open. For starters, only the people that are walking at the very same pace can hear what you are saying – for the most part. You can set your own pace; if you want to casually stroll it doesn't matter, in fact, I recommend it. Have you ever heard the expression, “Stop and smell the roses,”? Well, do that to on your walk. Walks can include magical moments. It is a great time to ask someone to marry you or maybe just to present them with an anniversary present. Walks can happen anywhere. They might be downtown in a big city, a park, your old neighborhood, or one of my favorites - the beach. Never under any circumstance put a time limit on your walk. This is a time for the two of you to reconnect. If you are constantly looking at your watch and saying, “We better get back,” the moment is lost. When I think back about some great walks my wife and I have had I bring back some very fond memories. Like asking her to marry me while walking on a beach in Cancun. We stopped near a great big rock in the middle of the beach. It felt like we were miles away from anyone else. Yet, there were a few other people on the beach. Another memorable walk we had was walking/hiking up a mountain in Gatlinburg. It was so much fun. It was a warm spring day, we soon realized we should have worn heavier coats the higher up the mountain we got.

Now that we have looked at all the romantic and sentimental views of the walk, I will also let you in on a little secret. Shhhhhhhhh. A walk is great exercise. I kid you not. It is good for your heart and lungs. Not only are you enjoying each other’s company, but you are making your life a little longer by improving your health. Walks ROCK. So never be too busy no matter where you are to put one foot in front of the other. Venture out into nature or the city. You will see so much more than you will driving in your car, and you might have a few times to stop and kiss!
