Corny but effective at this time of year - Sleigh Ride!

We have all seen the classic Christmas card with the couple in a sleigh with a horse pulling them. Well why not take that classic card to the next level and find a place where you can enjoy the ride for yourself. Obviously during this time of year you can find them everywhere most of them are the wheeled type of carriages. However, if you are in a place that has plenty of snow you can most likely find a place that has the old school horse pulled carriage. Not only will you get to snuggle close to your love but usually the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Take your camera along to remember you ride, some ride might take you during the evening and show you the wonderful Christmas lights around town. As you ride around remember the reason for the season the and the wonderful person seated beside you.

Watching the tree lights.

You know how the flicker of the fire sets a great mood for romance. Well at this time of year your Christmas tree lights can do the same thing. Turn all the lights down in the room with your tree in it and then find a cozy chair to snuggle down in. Don't let talking get in the way of enjoying the lights, just relax for a bit and take in the magic season of lights. Once you feel relaxed then you can start talking about things like presents you need to buy or what you want to do this holiday season. However, don't think to much the object here is to relax and enjoy the wonderful christmas tree the two of you have put up.

Romantic Ornaments.

One of the nicest things you can give your lover each year is a wonderful ornament that means something. You can select a specific thing like snowmen or angels and every year make this the first present you give them each year. Picture ornaments are a great ideas if you have children then way you can see how much they have grown each year. Another great idea is to find ornaments that are attached to a memory. Say for instance this summer you took a wonderful trip to Hawaii then a palm tree ornament might make a lasting memento of your trip. Another great thing to celebrate is having a baby, so mom or dad to be ornaments will always remind you of the year of pregnancy. No matte what type of ornament you are looking for today with the internet you are bound to find what you are looking for. You could even pick up a little ornament that would hold another little gift like an engagement ring or tickets to a romantic destination. You can be creative as you wish with this and no matter how you go about it your partner will know how much you love them, and each year you get to relive this gifts as you pull them out for another Christmas season.

What do YOU sleep it?

Recently we surveyed our readers to see what they wore to bed. An outstanding 44 percent stated that they wear nothing to bed at all. Which gives me great hope that the bedrooms of our readers are not just used for sleeping. Flannel PJ’s were wore by 22%of our viewers and the other 33 percent either wore just their underwear, something sexy, or shorts and a T-shirt. Looking at this I would say that the viewers of our blog are pretty well versed in bedroom antics. Maybe we need to focus more post on romantic things that happen in the bedroom? Let us know readers you can email us at romanticantics@gmail.com

Be Romantic Stock up on Cold and Flu Supplies

The season is upon us that live in colder climates. Cold and Flu season can hit you and your partner hard at anytime. You can do your best to prevent it from sidelining the two of you but chances are at some point and time you will have to confront it. Nothing says that you care about someone more then when you are prepared for them being sick. The last thing you want to do is to have to run out to a busy store at this time of year and spend a half hour to an hour waiting in line, to get some cold and flu supplies. Go through your cabinets and look for outdated remedies, as well as stuff that is absent from your cabinet. Then make a store run to pick up your favorite remedies to restock your medicine cabinet. Then the first time your partner is under the weather, you can treat them quickly and snuggle with them instead of running all over town standing in busy stores. Doing this can also save you money to as it affords you the luxury of finding coupons or special deals on the products you use. When you run out at the last minute the last thing you are looking for is you coupons or any special deals, you just want to get what you need a get home. If you have any children in your house you should do the same thing for them, to be prepared. Sure we all want to think about candle lit dinners when we think of romance but romance starts with care and concern for someone special and comforting someone that is ill will make you look like a saint in their eyes.

Be Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! Today of all days is a perfect day to be thankful for all the good things in your life, especially your partner. Make sure today to make them feel special, put a little more love into your kisses. If you don't on a regular basis (which you should) make them see how important they are to you. Be considerate, ask to help them out, pick out a movie they want to see for later in the evening, to show them your feelings. Don't skip the little things, like take their plate to the kitchen for them, ask them if they would like a drink and then go get it, or even let them take a nap if they desire. So much can be said for these little considerate things. On this great day of family dinners, football, and parades make sure to be thankful for the things that are really important on this day. Have a great day and appreciate the people around you as you watch the turkey getting carved.
