Can driving home from vacation be romantic?

We have covered a couple of times how romantic drives can be, however this one is a little different. The drive home from vacation is usually filled with sleeping and worn out company. You desire is to get home and not to be living out of your car anymore for a while. How can we make this romantic? Well by talking about the adventures you just had. Start recounting all the things you did and the ones that you remember the most. Ask each family member what was their favorite part of vacation and what was their worst. Getting the conversation flowing will help pass the time on your boring drive home. Not to mention have you partner laughing and poking fun at the things you did while on vacation. Get your digital camera out and have the passengers check out the photos of your trip and talk about what they are seeing. Just make sure the driver keeps his/her eyes on the road.

Corny but effective at this time of year - Sleigh Ride!

We have all seen the classic Christmas card with the couple in a sleigh with a horse pulling them. Well why not take that classic card to the next level and find a place where you can enjoy the ride for yourself. Obviously during this time of year you can find them everywhere most of them are the wheeled type of carriages. However, if you are in a place that has plenty of snow you can most likely find a place that has the old school horse pulled carriage. Not only will you get to snuggle close to your love but usually the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Take your camera along to remember you ride, some ride might take you during the evening and show you the wonderful Christmas lights around town. As you ride around remember the reason for the season the and the wonderful person seated beside you.

Fathers Day and Romance.

Happy Fathers Day for all you fathers out there. I know we don't normally associate fathers day with romance. However, I feel there should be time for romance everyday. Tonight save the romance for later tonight and spend the day with your family. I know this is fathers day but the whole family needs to be involved. So go on a bike ride together, watch a family friendly movie, go out to dinner (Dad's Pick), take in a ballgame or just have a great big BBQ. Remember this is fathers day, so dads use and abuse that fact. No cooking for you, sit back and enjoy your day.
