Stormy Nights are great for talking and cuddling.

When you crawl into bed and notice the flashing of light that lights up your room. Followed by the huge boom of thunder that startles your soul. These makes for a great night to snuggle up your you partner and watch the light show that comes in through that window. The rhythmic sound of the rain tickling your roof. The sporadic fireworks and sound show make a wonderful back drop for some great up late talking. Sit up in bed and touch each other as you discuss things like how storms made you feel when you were little. You can even act like little kids by counting after the lighting strikes and continuing until the thunder booms to see how far away the heart of the storm could be. Hide under the covers and do a little more of the teenage stuff like making out. Storm like this also offer a great sexual mood enhancement and you might find that when the lightning starts so does your libido. Enjoy the storm and all the memories it can create for you.

Read a book together.

We all know that reading is an enjoyable past time and can also be educational. Here is something you might not have tried before. Both of your read the same book? Sound crazy, maybe a little. Think of this if both of you are ready the same book it will give you something to talk about or even debate about. You can take turns reading the same book, because reading at the same time is difficult. Most likely one partner reads a little faster then the other. Another option is to buy one book and pick up a copy at the library also. You can read anything from fiction to a self help book the content doesn't matter as long as it appeals to both of you. Find a quite place to read and then after some time discuss what you have read with each other. Express your views on the book and what you find interesting about it then let your partner do the same.

Take in a little league game together?

A great test of a relationship is to get each other to a little league game together. Especially if you don't have children. You can find a game easily in your town, pick a field where the little kids play and just go soak up the atmosphere. Not having a specific child to watch, you can absorb all the children with an open mind. Discuss each child and how they act on the field and connect it to yourself. Pick out which kid you feel best represented you at that age. Have you partner do the same. Discuss how you would handle situations as they arise during the coarse of the game. Make notes of parents you think are not setting good role models and ones that are. This way when and if you ever have children together you can use this date as a point of reference on how you might act. Watch and see which children are paying attention and which ones are picking daisies. Hopefully you will see that the main point of any event or contest for the children at this age is to have fun. I coached little league for over ten years now and when the kids ask me if we are winning or losing I always ask them "Are you having fun?" and when they say yes I say "Then we are winning"

One small note on this subject, you might want to make sure you sit far enough away from parents if you are discussing their children's behaviour so that they cannot hear you. Parents can be pretty protective of their kids. So if a kid is acting bad don't pour gas on the fire, they most likely learned it from their parents.
