Looking for Love Try a Potion

Ancient Love Potion recipes have been used for centuries to attract love. The ancient Greeks mixed special love potions called Philtres. These special brews were used to bind a lover to them, and to arouse love and sexual desire in those who they adored, using magical ingredients such as Dittany of Crete.

Love Potion recipes, love spells and special love incantations have been passed down through the ages, and many people use them today, to help attract real love into their lives.

Love potions, to attract love from a particular person, are best mixed (by you) and drunk (by the object of your desire) at the start of the Waxing Moon. However, certain potions can be drunk by the person who wants to attract the love and affection, as it will help them become more attractive and desirable to the object of their desire.

It is good idea to have a Love Spell cast around the same time too, to help the Magic Charm manifest.

Moon Potion

This special Love Potion was passed down to my mother from her mother and before that.

Place a mix of dried herbs (2-3 teaspoons) on a saucer and leave on the window ledge in the light of the moon overnight (Full Moon is best). Use rosemary and sage as the herbs - add a pinch of dried Dittany of Crete if possible.

On an any evening of the Waxing Moon place the herbs in a bowl or cup and add boiling spring water. Let the herbs infuse for 10 minutes.

Add the juice of a small lemon and a teaspoon of honey.

Before drinking the Moon Potion say these words:

Goddess of the Earth and of Prophesy
Each wish in your name must come to be
So with this loving Moon Blessed Tea
I [your name] do ask this of Thee
That, [your heart's desire] be drawn to me
So mote it be 

When the potion is drunk, expect love and passion to come to you from your heart's desire.

Red Passion Potion

On the start of the Waxing Moon, add the following ingredients to a pan.

* 2 small glasses of red wine
* 1 small glass of cranberry or strawberry juice
* 2 cloves
* 2 drops of Dittany Essential Oil (use vanilla essence if you have no Dittany)

Heat and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Allow the potion to cool. You can keep the potion in the fridge. When the time is right and the opportunity is present, give one glass to your heart's desire and one for you. Be careful no one else drinks the potion before you need it!

Whenever you use Love Potions, make sure you are certain of the object of your affections, and be careful not to allow anyone else to drink them!

Spiritual Romance

In the springtime, with the flowers budding and the birds chirping as Mother Nature awakens from winter's sleep, the air is thick with pheromones. It's hard not to have romance on the brain. Let's talk about true romance, and some of the common misconceptions in the romance department.

True romance is when two people love each other and are compatible on a spiritual level. Whatever your spiritual beliefs are, they are the core of your belief system and the foundation from which you grow in life. Long-term partners have compatible spiritual beliefs, and therefore the potential for unlimited growth together. And if people can continue to grow together, they can stay together happily. From this core connection, passion can be sustained, and external expressions of romance can continue beyond the courting phase. From this deep level of caring, the true "fairytale romance" can exist.
Watch out for some common romantic mix-ups:

* A true relationship is not all candy and flowers. Good relationships are growth oriented, with both partners learning and growing together as they evolve in life, as individuals and as a couple. Growth does not have to be hard, but it does require commitment, attention and respect from both people.

* Romance is a two-way street. It is not just from one person to the other. With true romance, both partners care so deeply about the other that they delight each day in finding new ways to show their love. These expressions of love can be little or big; they differ from relationship to relationship.

* Don't ever settle for less than the true romance you deserve, whatever this may look like to you. If trying to connect romantically with your partner is like pulling teeth, look to the internal spiritual connection. If there is no connection here, it is time to reevaluate the relationship.

There is always a limitless abundance of potential partners to choose from. So with spring reminding us of love, feel the romance in your life!

People can be attracted to the goth style for a variety of reasons. It is a very visual style, which incorporates the use of leather, chains, make-up, tattoos, and piercings to create a recognizable look. The goth, emo, and punk styles have been growing in popularity for many years, to the point where people who are drawn to them will always be able to find others with a similar outlook.

The goth style is one which is designed to be different from the norm, and the people who wear this style will always try to stand out from the crowd. However, part of the appeal of goth style is that it is very social in nature. People who wear clothing which is goth, punk, or emo are very clearly members of those groups. Within each group are people who share the same tastes and outlooks, just as in any social group.

A goth style will therefore allow people to express themselves as being different from the majority of the general public, whilst at the same time being members of a smaller group. Texting in Relationships

I think texting rocks! It means that no matter what you are doing you can be in touch with and connected to your loved ones. Texting has absolutely deepened our dating and love relationships. Now your "A" level friends, family and lovers can be in a constant secret dialogue with you. Of course texting can be overdone and work in reverse: how many times have you seen others texting away and ignoring you or others they are with? As a psychologist I can tell you that there are certain times when that is a recipe for disaster. So you want to take advantage of texting, but in a clever, balanced way.

My dating and love advice is to use it to deepen your relationships but not at others' expense. With that in mind, here are seven Do's and Don'ts to follow when you are dating or in a relationship:

1. Little steamy or romantic texts can go a long way in a serious love relationship. Remember that less is more because you can pick up where the message ends and begin fantasizing about the other person!

2. Breaking up with someone by text is a definite no-no. Ending a love relationship in this way or by email are signs of cowardice and disrespect both of yourself and the other person. If at all possible deliver the bad news in person or at the very least in a phone conversation.

3. Revealing something embarrassing in writing is never a good idea. The message can be shown to others.

4. Using text to avoid speaking on the phone is sometimes the shy way out and doing so habitually will never get you over your fears. You have to come face-to-face and have straight truthful talk in order to have a whole relationship with another person.

5. Texting during a date is simply bad manners and rude.

6. Mass texting to ask people out on a date is a desperate act and will backfire later if people compare notes.

7. In the beginning phase of a dating relationship you are testing the waters so don't overtext. As the relationship becomes more serious, you can increase the frequency in order to plan things together, get emotional support or advice, and ultimately to send love messages.
