A surprise in their Shoe?

What is the last thing anyone puts on before going out for the day? Your shoes of coarse. So today's romantic tip is to slip a little excitement into your sweeties shoe. It doesn't have to be something expensive, I am sure jewelry would be appreciated. Things like their favorite candy bar, or tickets to a show later that evening would be nice. Think of things that would fit into their shoes without being able to see them. Imagine their face with they find something in their shoe when they try to slip it on. An old picture of the two of you could be a nice touch, an invitation to dinner or even a brand new pair of sexy panties might set their heart beating faster.

The important thing is to let them know you are thinking about them. The will understand that some planning had to go into this venture and will be delighted you put the extra effort into it. If their shoes are in bad shape maybe a gift card for some new ones. The ideas are as open as you are. So start thinking now of something foot sized that would make your partner feel special. Now go get it and slip it into their shoe. Just make sure it's not something that they can smash with their feet, no grapes please. Wine is better from the bottle.

Coin Collection

Want to do something that doesn't seem romantic but when you partner finds out about it will make them swell up? Start a romantic coin collection. Save coins from the change of special events you go to. Things like movies you attend or romantic dinners you have together. After you pay for what ever it is save the smallest coin from that change and hold on to it. When you get home tape it to a index card and write down on the card what event it was from. Start this as soon as possible in your relationship but don't let you partner see until well into the relationship. After you have been together for a while pulling out a card with the change on it from your first date would be pretty impressive. You can also write your feelings on the card about the event or even put down little trivia things like what she was wearing, what songs you heard, or milestones in your relationship, such as first touch, first kiss, etc. Not only will this seem romantic but it will make it easy to remember all those wonderful times you had together. Just keep it going all through your relationship and you will have the best coin collection ever.

Unpredictable!!

If you haven't heard of the Sex Is Fun podcast you are missing the boat. The weekly show is a blast to listen to and the topic range from anything to everything about sex. The cast is pretty open and will try anything. That however is not my point here. They also promote games that their parent company produces. Now they have games that are a little risky for the average couple but if you want a game for that promotes a titillating evening for the two of you then their new game Unpredictable is for you. It is a card game that has suggestion on them that will make your love making experience the best it can be. The cards alone are enough to make you get excited with their use of wonderful friend cartoon images of sexual situations. The game is simple and doesn't require sitting up anything or any clean up but the fun awesome. You can pick up the game at Sex is Fun Website or by clicking on my Amazon sidebar and purchasing the game that will give us a little kick back to help keep our blog running.

Want to pass some time? together!

Here is a nice thing to do if the two of you want to pass some time together. Find games that are for only one player and then play that game together. Games like solitaire, or computer games that require some thinking are great to put your minds together and work as a team. This is one of those things to see how well the two of you can work together without being something that is important. See how quickly you start to feed off of each other. If it is a game one partner doesn't understand take the time to teach them how to play and use all your patience as it brings the two of you closer together.

Valentines Day fun!

Okay today I am going to tell you a fun little game to play with your partner on Valentine's Day. We call this one search for my heart. What you do is get some construction paper and cut it out into hearts. Next you need to plan out several area's of your house where you can hide clues. Places like the refrigerator, dryer, or underwear drawer for examples. Next you put clues on the hearts you cut out of the construction paper. You can make them as hard or easy as you like one example might be if you are going to hide one in the dryer you might write on the heart, "If I wanted you to tumble my underwear it might be in here" Lead the person all around your house with these clues then with a red washable marker draw a little heart on your body that is the x that marks the spot. If you want to be intimate you might put the heart near you genitals or if you can just put the heart on your chest. To start the hunt out give your partner a card with the first clue inside. You could also purchase several little presents and put one at each clue to add a little more excitement to the game. You could plan your evening out this way, get a coupon for your favorite restaurant, followed by a ticket to a romantic movie, then a bottle of wine, ending with a pair of sexy underwear. I think they will get the idea!!!

Start planning your Valentines Day Activities today.

It might seem a little early but Valentines Day is just around the corner. Valentines Day is the greatest holiday for people who are romantic. You get to show your love and desire to the whole world. Cards, presents, candy, and hot passionate sex should be on your agenda for a great night. But with a little planning now you can make the night one to remember forever. Start looking for things to do or attend. Maybe you can find some tickets to a future show or event to give your sweetheart on Valentines day. Maybe you can book that special hotel with the mirrors on the ceiling and the whirlpool tub. Heck maybe you can even surprise them with a trip out of town. Today is the day you need to start planning to knock the socks off your partner on Valentines Day and with any luck you might knock the rest of their clothes off also.

Sent your partner a Christmas Card.

I have seen a drastic decline in the number of Christmas Cards that we are receiving. We use to get forty or so cards each and every year but lately we are lucky to get ten and they are only from our closest family and friends. If is kind of a bummer because it was nice to get a card in the mail to break up the monotony of bills. This is your cue to take it upon yourself to set out and make getting the mail a little special for your partner. Send them a sweet little card for Christmas one that expresses how important they are to you. Make it so they can't tell it is from you when they receive it in the mail have someone else address the envelope or print in on the computer. This will make it even more special as they struggle to guess who it could be from. If you really are adventurous then go out and pick out 12 different cards and send her one each day for the twelve days of Christmas. He/She might get a little bored with getting a card everyday from you and it will take a little of they surprise out of it around the third day but once Christmas finally gets her and they have the door frame covered with cards from you, you might just get a big kiss for it under the mistletoe.

Corny but effective at this time of year - Sleigh Ride!

We have all seen the classic Christmas card with the couple in a sleigh with a horse pulling them. Well why not take that classic card to the next level and find a place where you can enjoy the ride for yourself. Obviously during this time of year you can find them everywhere most of them are the wheeled type of carriages. However, if you are in a place that has plenty of snow you can most likely find a place that has the old school horse pulled carriage. Not only will you get to snuggle close to your love but usually the scenery is absolutely beautiful. Take your camera along to remember you ride, some ride might take you during the evening and show you the wonderful Christmas lights around town. As you ride around remember the reason for the season the and the wonderful person seated beside you.

Drive them wild with their favorite.

Want to really drive the person you care about wild. First thing you need to do is find a cologne or perfume that they absolutely love. Then when ever you are with them put a little on. Sure when you are going out together they will expect it but do it other times when they least expect it. Like right before getting into bed, or before you start watching a movie at home together. Don't over due it, just a little will do the trick. Put some on when you know the two of you are going to be close, like when the two of your are doing the laundry or doing other house work together. Another romantic thing to do is put a dab on their pillow when they are going to go to bed before you. They might not be able to sleep and will for some reason keep thinking of you. Put a little hint of the smell in their car before they leave for work or better yet do it while they are at work then they will smell your scent all the way home. The important thing here is to get them thinking about you and letting them know that you are thinking about them. If you try any of these suggestions let me know how they work out. I would love to hear your stories, email them to me a thecouplesspot@gmail.com

Car Scents

Want to impress you date, partner, lover, etc. Scents make for a powerful memory and they can set a mood from the first whiff. Why not put that powerful attack on their senses out right from the start. Go out to your local discount store and pick out a car air freshener that has a light yet definite scent. Now lets go over some details. First of all you don't want one of those green trees hanging from you mirror, that would look dorky plus your partner will notice right away where the scent is coming from. These mirror hangers tell your partner that you just threw the freshener up in a couple of minutes. I suggest hiding them under the seat this makes them wonder did you spend the whole day cleaning out your car to pick them up in. Another thing you need to consider that most of these air fresheners are pretty strong at first. I would suggest letting them air out a little before you put them in your car. Let them sit outside for a day then put them in your car. The last thing you want to do is have your partner get a terrible headache from the smell that is way to strong. Make sure you pick a scent that matches you. Don't get a floral scent it you are a macho guy and don't get a leather smell if you are a delicate lady. You can create a feeling for the whole date in just the first few seconds with the smell you choose.

Mark those Anniversaries.

One thing that will definitely show how romantic you are is to make sure you celebrate anniversaries. If you are in a new relationship it may sound a little silly. Showing someone that the days you met or your remember your first date will definitely impress your partner. Big anniversaries like the ones associated with weddings are a no brainer, if you don't remember them then you have a problem and your partner will most likely let you know that. However if you can just get a little care on the anniversary of your first date, you will get mega brownie points. For those of you about to embark on your first date with someone and you even remotely hit it off, make notes of the date. Write down things like what they were wearing, songs that you heard, the place that you ate, then in a couple of years if you are still together that will be very impressive. Don't trust your memory, it can fail you when you need it.

One the other hand don't over due it. That will only make you look like a weirdo. If you give them a card for the first time you took a walk together you partner might be wondering why they are with you in the first place. For the major anniversaries go all out and if you are on a fixed budget then work around it. Where there is a will there is a way. Get cheap flowers at the discount store and put them in a special vase, cook them a special meal, or just go on a long hand in hand walk. Those are the things that are important in a relationship. Sure jewelry and sports tickets are nice but they are fleeting but gazing into someones eyes at a sunset last forever.
