Be Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! Today of all days is a perfect day to be thankful for all the good things in your life, especially your partner. Make sure today to make them feel special, put a little more love into your kisses. If you don't on a regular basis (which you should) make them see how important they are to you. Be considerate, ask to help them out, pick out a movie they want to see for later in the evening, to show them your feelings. Don't skip the little things, like take their plate to the kitchen for them, ask them if they would like a drink and then go get it, or even let them take a nap if they desire. So much can be said for these little considerate things. On this great day of family dinners, football, and parades make sure to be thankful for the things that are really important on this day. Have a great day and appreciate the people around you as you watch the turkey getting carved.

Make a delicious desert for your Thanksgiving dinner

Sure we all need to watch our weight but at Thanksgiving everyone needs to try a little of the sweet stuff. Whipping up a tasty treat will have your partner standing in amazement of your talents as they bite into this tasty treat, who's instructions are below. Now you don't have to make this exact item shown above but make something that will make everyone's mouth water. This is great for when everyone is sitting around watching football or playing games. We all know that whatever you make will have way to many calories in it, but think of it this way how are you going to work all those calories off later in the evening? Sound inviting doesn't it. You will also get a big feeling of accomplishment as you pull off this desert masterpiece and the Thanksgiving table is the perfect place to display your work of art, so that your sweetheart and see how talented you are. You can find the turtle pumpkin pie (pictured above) recipe by clicking on the title of this post.
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 cup cold milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Have your own little Thanksgiving for the two of you.

If your like us, you spend your Thanksgiving going from one partners parents to the next. Eating and roaming the country side. While I am not in the least bit saying you should skip these family gatherings, I am suggesting you make your own little Thanksgiving dinner on the night before or after. Pick on of the nights and make a little dinner for the two of you, heck you can even use left overs if you brought some home. You could also make a specific dish for the two of you to enjoy this time of year. Sit around and tell each other why you are thankful for their being in your life and don't just say the big things, use the little ones to show how much you value them. Things like "I am so thankful when you get up a little earlier to let me sleep in" or "I am thankful that you pushed me to apply for my new job" Spread them out through out the whole day and retrace the entire year. Sure being thankful shouldn't happen just once a year but when the word is in the title of the day you can't help but make it a focal point.
